Live in Peace; Bwari Council Chairman Admonishes Residents

The Chairman, Bwari Area Council, John Gabaya, has tasked residents of the Council to continue to live in peace, irrespective of tribe, religion, political or social inclinations.
The Chairman gave this charge, while hosting Muslims in the Area to a Ramadan Break Fast at his official residence.
The Muslim Faithful were led by the Sarkin Bwari, Alhaji Auwal Musa Ijakoro II.
The Chairman appreciated the Royal Father and his entourage for forsaking their personal schedules to join him in the eventful event; stating that the action will go a long way to further cement the existing cordial relationship.
He pleaded with the Muslim faithful in the Area Council to use the Holy Month to continue to pray for peace and harmony between all ethnic groups.
He reiterated that without peace there will be no any meaningful development and, therefore, enjoined all residents to be their brothers keeper.
The Chairman revealed that his Administration plans to organize an extraordinary session with both Christian and Islamic leaders in Bwari after the month of Ramadan.
His words: “There shall be no religious crises of whatever kind during my tenure as Chairman of Bwari Area Council.”
“I wish to thank the Muslims and Christians living in Bwari Area Council for the love they’ve exhibited towards their harmonious co-existence,” the Chairman said.
Responding, the Sarkin Bwari, Alhaji Auwal Musa Ijakoro II, appreciated God and thanked Bwari Area Council Chairman for the love, he showered on his people.
The Royal Father said the breaking of fast was a manifestation of sustained love and peace among the populace of Bwari.
He prayed God for more wisdom and guidance for the Chairman as he assured him of maximum support for the development of the Area Council.
“A leader who feeds his followers has a big reward. This evening, the Chairman invited hundreds of persons to feed them. I pray may God reward the him for his kindness,”Sarkin Bwari restated.
The Royal Father urged his subjects to pray for the nation, especially those about taking office for prosperity and harmony to flourish among Nigerians.
