FCT POLICE SET TO CREATE MORE POLICE POSTS

The FCT Police Command has concluded plans to create more Police Posts in Kuje Area Council and environs.

The FCT Police Commissioner, Sadiq Idris Abubakar, made this disclosure in Kuje, when he led a confidence building and assessment patrol Team  to Gomba Village and other Communities in Kuje Area Council. 

The Commissioner revealed that the FCT Command will absorb interested Youths into the Community Policing Programs in the Area. 

Abubakar said that this will boost intelligence gathering, and establish a generally improved approach towards Policing. 

During the visit, the CP met with the security Team in Kuje Comprising of the Police, DSS, Vigilante, traditional leaders and other Stakeholders. 

Addressing the Stakeholders, Abubakar said the Patrol was aimed at warding off criminal elements, Confidence building and improving the synergy between the Police, sister security agencies, and the community in order to prevent crimes.

He assured residents of the Federal Capital Territory of an improved security architecture and enjoined members of the Public to go about their lawful duties without fear ; while ensuring that every suspicious activity is reported to the Police through the emergency numbers that have been made available to the public.
