AMAC Chairman Condoles Karu Chiefdom Over Death of Etsu

The Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has commiserated with Karu Chiefdom over the death of the Etsu Karu, (Sa’karuyi of Karu), HRH Emmanuel Kyauta Yepwi.

The Chairman in a condolence visit, described the late monarch as an upright leader, who worked tirelessly for the wellbeing of members of Karu Chiefdom during his lifetime.

“The late Sa’karuyi was a selfless leader, because he never relented in pursuing projects that would bring development to his Chiefdom and the entire FCT,” he said.

“We pray that God forgives his shortcomings and accept his soul to rest in eternity,” he prayed.

Maikalangu restated that the Late Sa’karuyi Karu was a peace-loving man, who contributed immensely to the development of the FCT Traditional Council of Chiefs and Karu Chiefdom.

Late Sa’Karuyi Karu, who was a second class Chief of Karu Chiefdom, was aged 76, when he died in Kano on 15th April 2023, after a brief illness.
